Comment (by ar-an-ribe):

 Per the recommendation in #70227, I’ve deactivated `ld64 @3_6
 +ld64_xcode+universal` and installed `ld64 @3_6 -ld64_274+universal` in
 its place. The `llvm-15 @15.0.7_1 +universal` port now compiles without
 the failed assertion.
