 I'm going to try to fix this in the grace source, but I stand by my
 position (which I know isn't macport's policy) that when bringing along
 ancient code bases, it's better to get the new compilers to behave like
 old compilers than to update the code to work with the new compilers.

 I'll post here, perhaps with a PR, once I get it working.
