 Apparently support for Qt4 existed early in 3.x branch:
 https://github.com/videolan/vlc/commit/1c221a77d92935866e897254c07e1d12a4b95ae0

 Though it could be a clean-up too. But if it still worked at the time of
 3.0.0-1, it is likely restorable into a bit later version.
