 and has been continued ever since.

 There have been times when gnome builds failed for me due to mismatched
 gint64 values, and similar, and I’ve had to patch source to fix this, not
 really understanding why. Maybe this is why.

 There are many ancient patches in macports like this…. most of them
 probably need to be tossed and the isdue they were meant to fix be freshly
 liiked at.
