 I uninstalled home-brew.   But installation still fails.  I don't
 understand how to find GLib 2.16.2.  I tried reinstalling go, but it in
 turn tries to install vala, which fails.  So, I cannot install wget, which
 requires libproxy, which requires vala.  So, I'm stuck.
