 It is time to have the official "quartz" discussion I guess.

 A bunch of things that people want in gnome cannot build quartz, and only
 exist as x11 variants, however.

 This is not the location for that chat, There is a sorta ticket about it
 that not many follow. Probably best to open it up to the dev mailing list
 and let the feathers fly there.
