Comment (by kencu):

 the difference seems to be that in ncurses 6.4.1 and earlier,
 {{{NCURSES_OPAQUE}}} is 0, whereas in ncurses 6.5.0, it is "1".

 and in curses.h, this appears to change whether these items are visible
 and defined or not.
