 Was your KDE4 ahead of MacPorts before you switched to KDE5 completely?

 If you refer me to a specific tree for KDE4 in your repo (which was/is
 known to work), I can clone that and try installing all KDE4 stuff from
 there just to make sure. If something is wrong in MacPorts versions,
 pretty likely I did not fix everything, so that may creep in (though it
 seems that sources themselves are less than stellar, so to say).
