 Did you ever try to use the patches for my `qt5-kde{,-devel}-x11`
 subports? From what I just saw it was functional from my commit
 #5bed2aae3f8cd03e2523fb42b51f16eea7975792 onwards, and may even have
 worked with Qt 5.3.2 (judging from version-specific patchfiles at least).
 Can't test my ports easily either anymore as Qt no longer provide the
 sources to "really old" versions and MacPorts servers only cache the
 component tarballs - how annoying is that!
