 Earlier mentioned in https://trac.macports.org/ticket/40390#comment:21 but
 looks like forgotten ever since.
 It still fails to work correctly in the current version of the port.

 I have opened an issue with upstream now:
 https://github.com/wxWidgets/wxWidgets/issues/24583
