 Maybe you can also do what you want to do using one of the `openjdk8-*`
 ports that install a pre-built binary OpenJDK distribution?
 `openjdk8-zulu` install Azul Zulu OpenJDK, `openjdk8-temurin` installs
 Eclipse Temurin, `openjdk8-corretto` installs Amazon Corretto OpenJDK and
 `openjdk8-openj9` installs IBM Semeru OpenJ9.
