Comment:

 `pthread_jit_write_protect_np` is only available in macOS 11 and later.

 The qemu developers deliberately removed the compatibility code that used
 to allow it to compile on macOS 10.x:

 The maintainer of the qemu port has previous expressed disinterest in
 supporting older versions of macOS than the developers of qemu do.
