 So I've started taking a crack at updating the Portfile. They changed the
 build system to meson, and simplified a lot of things in the process.
 Pertinent here: it no longer allows you to specify whether you want an X11
 or a Quartz build yourself, instead basing its backend on whatever the
 GTK+ 3 install uses. Is there a preferred way to take something like that
 into consideration, or should we just let gimp3-devel break if gtk+'s
 configuration changes (which would require a breaking uninstall)?

 Python is also now required; will figure out how to handle that
 appropriately before submitting a patch.
