 Pardon me... I'm the author of ticket #71260. I received a notice that
 it's been closed as a duplicate of this ticket.

 However, I do not see exactly what the "closure"/"fix" here is. 'exiftool'
 on my Mac remains broken.

 The last change here (comment 20) indicates that: "The solution is to fix
 the port so that its files do not refer to #!/usr/bin/env perl but instead
 to the specific version of MacPorts perl that we want it to use, like it
 did before."

 If that is indeed the case, why is there no update to 'exiftool' from
 MacPorts?
