A few on macOS High Sierra, version 10.13.6, built Perl 5.34 modules crash
when testing them in a way that CrashReporter comes up. But neither Perl
itself nor port take any notice of that and just continue. How can I make
port stop when such a crash happens? How can I make Perl show a bit more
verbose what it does, make it report the return value of a test, as
 configure is doing?
