#71381: p5.34-dbd-mysql @5.10.0 cannot be extracted and patched when it is
installed
------------------------+-----------------------------
 Reporter:  ballapete   |      Owner:  (none)
     Type:  defect      |     Status:  new
 Priority:  Normal      |  Milestone:
Component:  ports       |    Version:  2.10.2
 Keywords:  highsierra  |       Port:  p5.34-dbd-mysql
------------------------+-----------------------------
 Installed is:

 {{{
   p5.34-dbd-mysql @5.10.0_0+mysql8 (active) requested_variants=''
 platform='darwin any' archs='x86_64' date='2024-11-23T01:27:02+0100'
 }}}

 When I try to `build` it again in order to `test` it again I get:

 {{{
 Executing:  cd
 "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_perl_p5-fcgi/p5.34-fcgi/work"
 && /usr/bin/gzip -dc
 '/opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/perl5/FCGI-0.82.tar.gz' | /usr/bin/tar
 -xf -
 --->  Fetching distfiles for p5.34-dbd-mysql
 Error:
             ****
             **** p5.34-dbd-mysql can only have one active variant
 installed
             **** If you need this vaiant, deactivate the previously
 installed one with
             ****     port deactivate p5.34-dbd-mysql
             **** or uninstall is with
             ****     sudo port uninstall p5.34-dbd-mysql
             ****
 Error: Failed to fetch p5.34-dbd-mysql: Error: p5.34-dbd-mysql variant
 already installed
 Error: See
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_perl_p5
 -dbd-mysql/p5.34-dbd-mysql/main.log for details.
 }}}

 What is the sense of it? Or is there another way to repeat `test`s?

 Notice also the typo in "vaiant"!
