 The Accelerate variant is a new one since the fixes that Apple made since
 macOS 13.3 are so that NumPy/SciPy now feel it’s usable and, in fact,
 suggest to use it by default. So previously you’d always have NumPy
 installed with the {{{+openblas}}} variant as that used to be the default.

 The fact that it cannot find the “distfile” is not an error, it should
 just build it from source so something else has gone wrong there in your
 attempt. If you want to pursue this further please attach the
 {{{main.log}}} file. If, at least for now, the {{{openblas}}}  is
 sufficient and working for you I would suggest to leave the ticket open
 and see if the issue resolves itself with the update to version 2.
