Comment (by ryandesign):

 Supposing that you have added a libproxy-vala subport to the libproxy port
 by adding a `subport ${name}-vala { … }` block to it, you would test that
 subport by being in the libproxy Portfile's directory in the terminal and
 running e.g. `sudo port destroot subport=libproxy-vala`.
