 I suppose one could try the same approach [https://github.com/macports
 /macports-ports/commit/1ddc257e8acec2a9c678ff7e5cf84beb9b8c253c as Marcus
 did for the py-numpy port], but to be honest I do not fully understand it.
 Moreover, I do not have a system that needs/will build universally so have
 no way of testing it. But if you guys think that Marcus his approach would
 work for SciPy as well I am happy to try.
 On the other hand, I guess that “meson” would be able to do universal
 builds so that might another approach to explore.
