Comment (by danielluke):

 It builds fine on the buildbot (and locally for me) - so we just need to
 figure out what’s different on your system (or what’s different between
 x86_64 and arm64 builds) and then fix up the port. The log shows it
 failing with cfg_test (not with linking) - I’ll see if I can get access to
 an arm64 box to try to  replicate.
