 I cannot reproduce this, it works fine on {{{x86_64}}} and macOS 15 and I
 don't have older OSes and/or architectures to try with. It's possible
 there are still issues with Apple's Accelerate Framework which is the new
 default for macOS 13.3 and above; so likely you can "fix" your problem by
 installing SciPy with the {{{+openblas}}} variant.

 It's likely though that the issue is specific to the slightly older
 version that still supports Python 3.9 and got fixed in the later
 releases, since these work as intended with the Accelerate framework.
 Nevertheless, I think your best bet is to (1) switch to a newer Python
 version or (2) install SciPy with the {{{+openblas}}} variant. If you want
 to investigate this further and submit a PR to fix something, I am happy
 to accept that but I will not work on this myself.
