Comment (by ballapete):

 `Portfile` also needs a block for tests. Therein an instance of MySQL 8
 (or another version) would get launched, users would get created and their
 passwords saved to perform the tests. Wouldn't the default user `_mysql`
 be more adequate than `root`?

 And after tests the DB needs to get stopped and the directory
 `/opt/local/var/db/mysql<version>` cleaned.
