Comment (by christophecvr):
Found the final problem of message. For some test the xdg config parameter
RUNTIME=cache was set by me. This caused problems after upgrade of at-
spi2-core. The parameter is now removed and all runs fine.
Unless someone else has problems with it I will close the ticket soon.

The problem with gedit segfault crash is most probably related to a lot of
deprecated stuf in :
- gedit self quartz build with gedit-app-osx.m
- To outdated glib2
- Universal patch in glib2 which one is going against the base philosophy
of:
https://docs.gtk.org/glib/types.html
- port:gtk-osx-application does have a lot of deprecated and obsolete use
of Nsapplication functions.
https://download.gnome.org/sources/gtk-mac-integration/3.0/
- port:gtk3 +quartz also a lot of deprecated use of Nsapplication
functions.
I'm now trying to trace them all but the solutions will not be for
tommorow.\\
It is a search of a couple of needles in a gigantic wood.
gedit (quartz backend) is actually broken for macos as from version 10.14
and higher (also for homebrew) and upgrading gedit to 47 is even worse
since that version is unstable and does not has language support . However
for language support works are going on but that will take time.
