 I have a test screen.rc file with the following line

 `hardstatus alwayslastline "%{.kw}[%{..g}%H%{..w}]
 [%{..M}%S%{..w}:%{..m}%n %{..M}%t%{..w}] [%{..W}%h%{..w}]%=
 %{..w}[%{..r}%l%{..w}][%{..y}%D, %y/%m/%d %{..Y}%c:%s%{..w}]"`

 When launched in screen v4 I get a normal end line with colors, load and
 seconds in the time showing

 `[JP4EGPM0X2MXHF9] [ttys061.JP4EGPM0X2MXHF9:0 zsh] []
 [42.06 27.70 21.49][Fri, 24/10/04 10:32:43]`

 But if I load the same line with screen5 then I see no colors, the load is
 empty and seconds part is garbled
