 Interesting.  It certainly did exist (and is still listed on the web docs
 for the R port), but I guess it must have been removed due to the XCode 16
 bug that barracuda156 mentioned.

 Unfortunately, the gccdevel variant depends on libgcc-devel, which
 conflicts with libgcc and libgcc12, which I can't uninstall due to other
 installed ports depending on them.
