 I see from your crash log that the crash is in `parse_file_seq` and that
 libguile was loaded, so I assume you have installed the gmake port with
 the +guile variant. Try installing it without the +guile variant. I found
 this mailing list discussion in which a crash in `parse_file_seq` was
 narrowed down to building gmake with guile support but the thread seems to
