 Since PHP v8.1 AVIF is supported (e.g. see https://php.watch/versions/8.1
 /gd-avif)

 By configuring PHP >= 8.1 with the flag ''--with-avif'', the functionality
 would be available.

 I guess(!) it's enough to add it here in the Portfile:
