 OK! I got {{{opencv3}}} to install with the {{{+contrib}}} and {{{+avx2}}}
 variants.

 The build failed when I tried to {{{upgrade --enforce-variants}}} with
 {{{+eigen and +gdal}}}. I tried both at the same time and each
 individually. The +eigen variant seems to be the culprit as exclusively
 adding the {{{+gdal}}} variant to {{{opencv3 @3.4.16_19+avx2+contrib}}}
 was succeeded.

 I've attached the {{{port upgrade --enforce-variants +eigen}}} log file
 (prior to success with the gdal variant). I will continue trying more
 variants, as well as the standalone eigen port (prepare for another
 ticket).

 There are a bunch of things I would like to start working on if I can get
 this going.

 Your guidance/advice is appreciated.
