 It seems that macOS also provides its own copy of libiconv, so I'm
 guessing that this is in fact due to the Sequoia CLTs mitigation and this
 ticket should probably just be closed.

 But maybe it's possible to get the build working regardless of CLTs; I'm
 not familiar enough with the intricacies of xcodebuild to be able to offer
 many insights.
