 works as well. A user above said it didn't work for him, but there is some
 indication there of a mixup in versions.

 I did not have a good experience doing this. I'm pretty sure there was no
 version mixup in my setup. Via .dmg seems the only reliable method to
 install CLT, though I wish that Macports would not insist on CLT in
 presence of the "full" Xcode.
