 it is strange how weird idiosyncracies develop on some people’s machines.

 so long as this is the only one time you have to do this, it’s probably
 OK.

 however, any further similar weirdness and you’ll need to figure out
 exactly what is wrong on your system.

 I’d run “port doctor” and “port reclaim” just to clean up…
