 Yes, but the dmd is very old and somebody offered to try to update it and
 then vanished.  The GCD variety will be harder to implement as the D folks
 only only Intel/AMD.  The LDC variety is being built by the D folks for
 arm64.  These are distinct varieties of D-lang.
