 Please check the output of {{{port rdeps py313-scipy}}} - you will see
 that {{{python312}}} is pulled in as a build dependency of {{{clang-18}}}.
 I agree that it might be beneficial to change this to {{{python313}}} but
 I haven't investigated whether or not there is a reason for the current
 situation (other than nobody has changed it yet). So there isn't an issue
 here with {{{py313-scipy}}} specifically.
