 This is in `app/CMakeLists.txt`, where version CMake 2.8 is required. This
 is likely non-intentional as building this library requires CMake 3.9
 either way. IMO this should be patched in the port, like in this PR:
 https://github.com/json-c/json-c/pull/888 Or just wait until upstream
 merges the PR and creates a new release.
