 Thanks. I read through the Debian bug, the Gentoo bug, the libxslt bug.

 I see that this issue was
 [https://github.com/docbook/xslt10-stylesheets/commit/1c41ae5ae3d4816687467712580d5f05957b3b88
 fixed upstream in docbook-xsl in 2018] but
 [https://github.com/docbook/xslt10-stylesheets/issues/264 there has been
 no new release since 2016]. So I'm fine with adding this patch.
