 It's not yet clear why this is suddenly an issue, as the ports in the
 dependency tree //seem// to be using a path dep. (Though I haven't done an
 exhaustive check of every dependency, so perhaps there's one or more that
 aren't.)

 Nonetheless, this is causing all buildbot builds to fail, during step
 install-dependencies:
