 I will look into that.  It is a straightforward problem, I just need to
 learn how visibility of ISO_C_MODULE is managed in this particular code
 segment.

 Meanwhile an upstream developer has already latched on to this, and
 started a new upstream branch for fixing 32-bit support.  Take a look at
 that active PR conversation.  Fix for your last error is probably already
 in there.
