 by default {{{emacs}}} is not selected. The check is done
 [https://github.com/djcb/mu/blob/3dbd8b97637e0b46943251a49f6897987cc019fb/meson.build#L294
 here] and should be enough to detect incompatible versions and other
 issues. What the command {{{/usr/bin/emacs --version}}} returns in your
 installation?
