 There isn't much I can do about what systems Qt6 supports. There are
 currently three different ports that support the following Darwin
 versions:
 {{{
 set qt6::available_versions {
     qt6     {6.8   {24 23}}
     qt67    {6.7   {24 23 22 21}}
     qt64    {6.4   {24 23 22 21 20 19 18}}
 }
 }}}

 I agree with Josh that a better "upgrade" path would be helpful for users
 that had the {{{qt6}}} port installed on a system where it's no longer
 supported. I **think** [https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/pull/27720 this PR] does that from my limited testing, I would
 appreciate another set of eyes on it before I merge it.
