 Ok, there is a breaking change.  See
 https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/issues/1647
 Basically they changed how a function was defined that breaks any older
 code trying to compile with it.  There will be a fix in 4.6.1 so it's
 probably better to skip 4.6 and wait for 4.6.1.
