Comment (by thetrial):

I’ll try to reproduce. But now MP needs to build clang and llvm 9, 11 an
14 … to finally build 19. I cannot remember why and what for clang-19
appeared. And was it really +universal?! It was, says the logfile, hm.
Strange, because my onboard clang-16 and -17 are not +universal.

So, this will take quite a long time … I started it on the wrong machine,
not awaiting that so many dependencies will occur. Due to a reclaim on
both machines the stuff is not in place.

If I remember right – the default compiler was/had to be clang-14, and
that might have been installed as a dependency (and is now absent at the
moment). But what could have been the error? So I will rebuild all and
 see.

I also do not remember anymore, why I once chose to install and keep
 exactly clang/llvm-16 and 17. And e.g. not 17/19 or 18/19 … and even why
one odd and one even. Lost riddles.
