 Yes but 10.6 never existed for PowerPC, therefore if you were on 10.6 on
 Intel compiling for PowerPC you would never use the 10.6 deployment
 target; you would always use 10.5 or earlier. As far as any released
 version of macOS is concerned, deploying for 10.6 means Intel.

 Not relevant since GNU libtool (glibtool) is unrelated to Apple libtool.
 They share no code and don't do the same thing.
