 Then please submit (a) ticket(s) for that.

 As per the MacPorts’ Python policy ports should be using the  MacPorts’
 default Python version. I’ll take a look at this specific port later this
 weekend, but we will surely not be adding variants to all kind of Python
 packages just because something doesn’t build on very old OSes. You’ll
 have to sddress the root cause of this failure and not push it down to
 other ports.
