 It is in this case, because Tiger does not now and never will have 64 bit
 INODE types, so the assert will never succeed.

 Otherwise, this software will never build on Tiger with this static assert
 left in. Which is fine with me, TBH, as I'm getting pretty tired of
 supporting TIger anyway, but people seem to still be interested in it.
