 Hi

 any idea when/if the macports version of ipython will be updated  from
 8.25.0 (which gives a "No event loop integration for 'macosx'") to the
 latest version, 8.31 (released Dec 2024).  The latest version is available
 via pip but I'd rather keep the macports installation pristine as
 possible.
