 handful of them on December 28, but half of those I checked did not build
 with this new version and need patches, so updating exiv2 is not
 straightforward and will require an extended concerted effort to identify
 and fix all of the problems at once, an effort which I'm not currently
 continuing.

 We might need to create a new segregated port, pinned to the current
 version. That would allow us to move forward, without the insanity of
 patching old code.
