 Yes, that is expected.  It is the Cmake problem that I mentioned above.
 It is due to an update to the PROJ dependency in VTK 9.5.0.  That is fixed
 in my development version of the GDCM portfile.

 If you want to try my development version, download `Portfile` and `files
 /patch-CMakeLists_txt-find_vtk.diff` from here.  Currently this runs into
 the same `vtkStdString` error that you originally reported above:
