 Sorry guys, I just can't want any longer. I've loaded the macOS 6.03
 package from https://csml-
 wiki.northwestern.edu/index.php/Binary_versions_of_Gnuplot_for_macOS and
 it works great. I'll try again some day because I still like ports. All
 the best.
