 Needless to say, I didn't see this in testing. The changes from 2.11.0 to
 2.11.1 are not large and I don't see how they could cause something like
 this. https://github.com/macports/macports-base/compare/v2.11.0...v2.11.1

 If someone can run `sudo port -d selfupdate` on a 2.11.0 machine and see
 what's happening at the point where it's killed, that would be very
 helpful.

 In the meantime, if code signing is the issue, hopefully using the .pkg
 installer might be a workaround since it's notarized.
