 Noted in QGIS ticket: https://trac.macports.org/ticket/72531 .

 "Fix to QGIS source code for SIP >= 6.11 is in place. I see mention of
 3.44 due out in two weeks with the fix. Not clear if there is a patch or
 backport for 3.42.3 or 3.40.7 (LTR version)."
